Leon Spellson

Leon is an experienced sports and entertainment marketer with a diverse background in both the corporate and private sectors, coupled together with extensive experience in the event, live sports and entertainment industry. Leon has developed extensive relationships with executives and organisations globally and locally in the media, agency, sports and corporate industries.

Leon founded ESE The Agency in 1998, becoming one of Australia’s leading sports marketing and project management companies. Leon was appointed as General Manager of Nine Live in 2011, a newly created division of Nine Entertainment Co. Nine Live rapidly became the market leader in touring, events, hospitality and sponsorship resulting in a successful incremental revenue stream for Nine Entertainment Co.

In 2014, Leon relaunched ESE The Agency and has since worked with many high profile organisations including; News Corp Australia, VISA, Samsung, Channel 9, Network 10, Magic Millions, NRL, AFL, Crown Resorts, Swisse, Bauer Media Group, Harvey Norman and Four N Twenty to name a few.

Kelly Sammut

Kelly is a Senior Marketer passionate about delivering tangible business outcomes through lateral thinking, creativity and collaboration. She is skilled in bringing together strong teams to achieve complex brand objectives.

With extensive leadership experience including agency experience in the UK before moving into luxury brand management with a career spanning 15 years with Lexus Australia.

Kelly has been successful in taking a challenger luxury brand to become an established and recognised brand within the luxury market via her leadership and innovation in Business & Brand Strategy, Research, Sponsorship, Events, Lifestyle PR, Content Creation, Media & Partnerships

Kelly has now joined ESE The Agency to bring her experience and brand mastery working with clients to establish themselves in an ever changing marketing landscape.

Sasha Wynne

Sasha plays an integral role in the events and sponsorship division of ESE, working on key accounts across sporting sponsorship properties including Supercars, State of Origin, Spring Racing and Grand Prix.

She works closely with key clients to create and implement event activations, oversees logistical elements and event documentation and plays a key role in bringing the events to life as event coordinator.

Previously she headed up the events team at Ormond College managing the internal and external events calendar and overseeing their delivery from conception to implementation, including O Week, Ormond Ball and the Valedictorian events.

Alexandra Williamson

Alexandra is a highly regarded talent and event management professional with in-excess of 10 years’ experience managing some of Australia’s most sought after and influential talent.

Alex brings a unique skill set thanks to her diverse industry experience having managed Football Federation Australia’s corporate events for seven years, and prior to that overseeing the event management of Australia’s first female Prime Minister, Hon Julia Gillard MP.

She was most recently an instrumental part of the team who successfully won the FIFA 2023 Women’s World Cup Australia/New Zealand bid, being responsible for the event structure for international delegations to Australia and player publicity for such events.

While working in the cut-throat world of Australian politics she played a key role in the production and presentation of all Prime Ministerial events involving press conferences, meetings with Heads of State, local events and presentation of major speeches.

Alex has now come full circle and joined ESE The Agency to manage the sports management division to help create lasting legacies for Australia’s leading female athletes and sports media.
